Laser Welder

We designed this special machine to fixture and rotate filter assemblies for laser welding.

After the assemblies are loaded and the light curtains are cleared, doors that physically and electrically block the laser beams lower, providing protection to the operator. Grippers then rotate the filter assemblies under a powerful laser beam.  Given the inherent dangers of operating a powerful laser, the machine interface is password protected.
