| Impulse Tester |

This three station impulse tester was built to test the failure of oil filters when subjected to pulsating oil pressure from hydraulic packs located in the back. The three stations operate independently from each other, allowing two to six filters to be tested. In this picture a pressure transducer is connected to the test pressure on the top of one of the filters. The oscilloscope on the cart shows the pressure wave, which was very close to a square wave. |
