This machine drills a few extra holes in the extrusions from the frame saw. The customer wanted a compact machine they could place beside the frame saw. This drilling machine drills two 13/64" holes in the back of each extrusion and two 3/32" holes in the side. |

Here you can see the four spindle unit that drills the 13/64" holes through both sides of the extrusion. Since the drill bits are going through both sides we installed drill bushings that sit inside of the extrusions and guide the bit through the second side. Proximity switches detect when the extrusions are in place and will not allow the machine to cycle if they are not. |
