| Filter Body Flanger |

This machine is similar to another flanger we made for the same customer. The customer wanted to run some filter bodies that were made from thicker material. They also wanted all of the rollers to be powered. Since the customer wanted more flanging power, we decided to use two gear motors. One of the stations is fixed, while the other moves on linear bearings. This allows the customer to run any length filter body from 3" to 22". |

The operator moves this station to accommodate the different lengths of bodies and locks it in place. Bodies ranging from 6.5" diameter to 12.5" diameter are flanged on this machine. Since both the inside and outside rollers are geared together there is no slippage and no scratching. |
