This machine presses dimples into tractor wheel rims. Rims are loaded onto the machine and then clamped into place. The ram then begins pressing in the dimples at pre-programmed locations. Since the table is indexed with a servo motor, the placement of the driver dimples is quite accurate. |

The cylinder shown is capable of pushing with 40 tons of force. The different patterns are programmed into the machine. The operator selects the correct part number and the machine automatically spaces the dimples correctly. |
